Yes, completely. Your collections are private and hosted in your secure account. Each memory collection uses a unique, unguessable link and is never indexed publicly in search engines without your explicit consent. Only individuals you share the private link with can view it.

Do recipients need an account or app download to view letters?

No. The recipient does not need to install an app or create an account. They simply open your personalized usmemory link on any mobile phone, tablet, or desktop browser to experience the animations, audio, and letters seamlessly.

How much does usmemory cost?

usmemory is free to create with a watermark (1 photo). Unlock a Single Premium Page for $4.99 / ₹199 or Premium Plus for $9.99 / ₹399 per page — music, video, password, custom URL, and AI letter writer on Plus. Checkout via Dodo Payments. No subscriptions.

Can I edit letters or add photos after sending the link?

Yes. Collections can be edited and expanded anytime from your creator dashboard. You can add new Open When letters, update photographs, or refine notes, and updates appear immediately for your recipient.

What interactive features are available for couples?

usmemory includes realistic blow-out candles for birthdays, relationship milestone clocks, astronomical moon phase displays for anniversary nights, scratch-to-reveal secret notes, spin-the-date-night wheels, customizable calendar badges, and ambient music playlists.

Last updated: September 2025. Your memories, love letters, voice notes, and photos are deeply personal. We built usmemory with uncompromising principles of confidentiality, zero advertising, and complete user ownership.

1. 100% Private Links — No Public Directory

Your digital letters and interactive memory sanctuaries are never indexed by search engines (Google, Bing) and are never displayed in any public directory or social feed.

Only people with whom you explicitly share your unique, unguessable gift link can view or unlock your sanctuary.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum data required to craft and deliver your digital memory sanctuary:

Account Details: Your email address and basic profile identifier when you sign in via Google OAuth or magic link.
User Memories & Letters: The text of your letters, recipient names, customized stickers, and layout configurations.
Uploaded Media: Photographs and audio voice notes you choose to attach to your letters.
Optional Secret Passcodes: If you protect a letter or sanctuary with a PIN, it is securely stored so only the recipient can unlock it.
Payment Information: Handled entirely by our PCI-compliant payment partner (Lemon Squeezy). We never see, store, or process your raw credit card numbers.

3. Zero Advertising & No Data Monetization

We believe romantic correspondence should remain sacred. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal letters, photos, or voice notes to third parties or advertisers. We do not train generative AI foundation models on your private love letters.

4. Security & Encryption

All communication between your device and usmemory servers is protected with industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption in transit. Uploaded media and database records are housed in enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure (Supabase) with strict access control policies.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use strictly necessary session cookies to maintain your login status. We also use browser LocalStorage to temporarily save letter drafts as you write, ensuring you never lose your words in the event of an unexpected browser refresh.

6. Data Ownership & Deletion

You own your words and memories. You can edit, unpublish, or permanently delete any collection or letter at any time from your Creator Dashboard. When you delete a sanctuary, all associated letters and attached media are permanently expunged from our active database.
